We’re very proud to share that Estarli has been shortlisted for E-Mobility Brand at the BikeBiz Awards 2026.

And first things first: thank you to everyone in the cycling industry who nominated us.

The BikeBiz Awards have been celebrating the people, products and businesses of the UK cycling industry for more than 15 years. To have Estarli recognised in the E-Mobility Brand category feels like a significant moment for us – and a reflection of just how far this Hertfordshire e-bike brand has come.

Getting new people onto e-bikes

Estarli has always had a pretty simple ambition: get new people onto e-bikes.

From our home in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, we’ve built an increasingly broad range spanning folding, hybrid, cargo and gravel e-bikes.

Oliver Francis, Estarli co-founder, said:

“We believe electric bikes can transform everyday journeys, but people have to be able to access good ones. So, from the very start, we set out to design really good quality e-bikes without the overbearing price tags that we know put a lot of people off.

“At this point in our journey, we’re just really proud of all the new people we’ve brought into the world of e-mobility – and excited about all of those still to come.”

Building a reputation – one bike at a time

Across the Estarli range, our bikes have consistently earned outstanding scores, awards and recommendations from independent cycling journalists and reviewers.

That external recognition has been an important part of our growth. In a market where customers are faced with an enormous number of brands, specifications and price points, independent testing provides something far more valuable than another marketing claim: trust.

It’s helped Estarli grow from a small British challenger into an increasingly familiar name for people shopping for an e-bike – and a growing favourite among bike retailers across the UK.

Doing things a little differently

We’ve challenged a few industry conventions along the way, too.

We don’t discount our bikes. And we don’t work around the traditional annual model cycle, launching a new bike because another year has appeared on the calendar and then discounting last year’s stock to clear it.

Instead, our engineering process is deliberately agile. We continuously iterate and improve our bikes, introducing meaningful changes when they’re ready.

It’s better for the customer, better for our retail partners and helps protect the value of the bikes already out there.

From Berkhamsted to riders across Britain

Behind all of this is a growing team at our Hertfordshire home, where we continue to invest in the people, engineering, assembly and support that have helped build Estarli’s reputation.

So, yes, we’re delighted to be shortlisted for a BikeBiz Award.

But the part we’re proudest of isn’t really the shortlist.

It’s seeing Estarlis carrying families to school. Locked outside offices. Folded onto trains. Heading down gravel tracks at the weekend. Sitting outside cafés. Replacing journeys that would otherwise have been made by car.

Because of Estarli, thousands of people every year are discovering the joys of e-bikes who might not otherwise have had the chance.
