At Estarli, we've always believed that e-bikes and life on the road are the perfect combination.
That's why we're delighted to be working with the Caravan and Motorhome Club as its official e-bike partner, bringing e-bike talks, test rides and group rides to members across the UK as part of the Club's fantastic new Event Weekends.
Our first stop was Ferry Meadows, where we spent a scorching weekend meeting caravan, campervan and motorhome owners looking to either buy their first e-bike or upgrade from an older one.
Helping people make sense of the e-bike market
The e-bike world can feel a tad complicated!
Mid-drive or hub motor? Folding or hybrid? How much range do you really need? Is lighter always better? Which bike will actually fit in your campervan? And perhaps most importantly—which bike will you still enjoy riding five years from now?
Throughout the weekend we spoke to tonnes of members, answered questions, gave demonstrations and, most importantly, let people try our bikes for themselves.
Visitors weren't just able to ride out in the beautiful surroundings with us—they had the freedom to lift them, try them in their bike racks and even see how they'd fit inside their own campervans and motorhomes. It's amazing how much confidence that gives people before making such an important purchase.
The talk: 8 Reasons to Buy an Estarli
One of the highlights of the weekend was our live talk, "8 Reasons to Buy an Estarli."
Rather than being a sales pitch, it's a practical guide to choosing an e-bike for touring life. We cover everything from why we build our bikes in Britain to balancing weight, power and range, transporting bikes safely, long-term support and the importance of buying an e-bike that doesn't become obsolete after a couple of years.
We also discuss the little things we've learned after six years of designing bikes specifically for campervan and motorhome owners—insights that can help anyone choose the right e-bike, whatever brand they ultimately buy.
