Our responsibilities
At Estarli, we're committed to reducing waste, extending product life, and ensuring that our e-bikes, batteries and electrical components are recycled responsibly at the end of their useful life.
As a producer and retailer of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE), we comply with the UK Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations and Waste Batteries Regulations. These regulations help prevent valuable materials from being sent to landfill and ensure that products are recycled safely and responsibly.

Repair rather than replace
If your bike is defective, please endeavour to repair the bike rather than attempting to dispose of it unnecessarily.
Recycling your Estarli e-bike and its battery
Your e-bike contains electrical and electronic components that should not be disposed of with household waste.
When your e-bike reaches the end of its life, please ensure it is recycled through an authorised collection or recycling facility. E-bikes contain valuable materials including aluminium, steel, copper, plastics and electronic components that can be recovered and reused.
Battery Recycling
Lithium-ion batteries require special handling and must never be placed in household waste bins.
All Estarli e-bike batteries should be recycled through an approved battery collection scheme when they reach the end of their service life. Proper battery recycling helps recover valuable materials while preventing environmental harm.
If your battery is damaged, swollen, overheating or otherwise unsafe, do not attempt to dismantle it. Contact Estarli for guidance on safe handling and disposal.
