As our first foray into the carbon fibre gravel category, the G700 (and its flat-bar counterpart, the H700) represents a significant milestone for Estarli. Over the past six years, we’ve worked relentlessly to expand our range — from folding and cargo bikes through to high-performance hybrids — and stepping into gravel was always going to be our biggest challenge yet. That’s why this review matters.

The G700 was designed to feel like a true gravel bike first — lightweight, responsive and intuitive — with electric assistance that complements, rather than dominates, the ride. At just 13.5kg with a full carbon frame, it’s one of the lightest e-gravel bikes in its class, and we’re proud to see that ethos recognised.

This latest review follows a 4.5 out of 5-star rating from Cycling Electric, reinforcing what we’ve been hearing from riders and retailers across the UK: that the G700 delivers something genuinely different in the e-gravel space.

Behind the scenes, this bike has been years in the making — shaped by a team of passionate gravel riders, engineers and builders here in Berkhamsted.
