We’ve taken one of our most popular bikes and made it even more capable.

The award-winning Estarli e28.X is now available with a new 3-speed system, joining the existing 2-speed model and giving riders more choice than ever. The goal wasn’t to reinvent the bike—but to build on what already works: lightweight design, intuitive riding, and everyday simplicity.

The original 2-speed system has proven itself time and again. It’s simple, reliable, and more than capable—especially on steep hills. But as more riders spent time on the bike, we saw an opportunity to go further.

The new 3-speed system adds a broader range of gears, making climbs feel smoother and giving riders more control across varied terrain. It also allows for a more relaxed cadence on flatter sections, so you can cruise more naturally and comfortably at higher speeds—all without changing the core ‘get on and go’ experience.

Despite the added capability, the e28.X remains one of the lightest bikes in its class, still coming in under 20kg. It retains the belt-driven, automatic system that keeps maintenance low and riding fuss-free.

Alongside the new drivetrain, we’ve continued to refine the overall package. An adjustable stem improves fit across a wider range of riders, while multiple configuration options—from handlebar styles to suspension—allow you to tailor the bike to your needs.

The result is a bike that stays true to what made the e28.X successful, while opening up even more ways to ride it.
